What is Prey? In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.
An Intel Core i5-2400 CPU is required at a minimum to run Prey. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i7-2600K to play the game. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 20GB of free disk space available. The minimum memory requirement for Prey is 8GB of RAM installed in your computer. Additionally, the game developers recommend somewhere around 16GB of RAM in your system. Provided that you have at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 graphics card you can play the game. Furthermore, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 is recommended in order to run Prey with the highest settings.
