The game Rust can get pretty rough on your PC, especially in high population multiplayer servers. Thankfully Rust requirements have a huge range of graphics options available, both in the main game settings and by using console commands.
You will need to play Rust on Steam - it is only available via that platform. There is a vague announcement of a Rust PS4 release, but nothing known yet. If you're looking for deals the game is not available on GMG - Rust G2A is your best bet if you're looking for the Steam codes cheap. There are loads of third parties who sell Rust servers - we recommend GTX Gaming. Fun fact - the Rust player count recently broke a new record, hitting 134,483 concurrent players.
There was a a surge of players jumping into Rust, with a bunch of big names on Twitch playing on January 3. Play from people like 2020’s most watched streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, Chance ‘sodapoppin’ Morris, and Ibai ‘ibai’ Llanos meant that Rust became only the eighth game to have ever broken a million concurrent viewers across all of Twitch. Want to play yourself? Compare your PC against the Rust system requirements. You can unlock in-game items via the Rust Twitch drops.
