What is The Sims 5? The developers at EA have steadily supplied The Sims 4 with content since 2014, but rumours suggest that the simulation game might soon see a sequel come to light. Could this be the rise of The Sims 5?

With at least eight years difference between the two games, we can expect The Sims 5 system requirements to see a bit of a jump over its predecessor. There's no telling how much of a leap they'll take just yet, though, as EA hasn't formally announced that The Sims 5 is in development. So far, the series is known for tame specs so the games work on a host of different devices, though, so we hold out hope it'll remain the same for future entries.
"Being a PC gamer is not the same as playing games on other platforms." When choosing a game for game consoles such as PlayStation or Xbox, only the cost of the game is important. In a game to be selected for PC, it is very important to choose a new game that the hardware such as graphics card, processor and ram are up-to-date rather than the price.
The games change every year according to the updates. We are faced with games that are graphically closer to reality, demolition physics, sound effects are improved every year.
You should consider whether your computer system has the appropriate hardware to run each game at the quality you want. Does GTA 5 meet your System Requirements? Let's take a closer look….
To run The Sims 5 System Requirements at the recommended level, you need a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics Card and an Intel Core i5-6600K processor. You should also have 8 GB of system memory.

Taking our best guess, we think reasonable expectations for The Sims 5 minimum system requirements would ask for an Intel Core i3-3250 or AMD FX 8370 CPU, alongside 2GB graphics cards such as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R7 370. It'll likely conform to the standard of 8GB of RAM minimum, but we might be lucky if it plays devices with a slimmer amount of memory.
Bumping up to The Sims 5 recommended system requirements, we think you'll need an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor matched with Steam's most popular GPU: the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. On the AMD side of graphics cards, we could be looking at an AMD Radeon RX 590.
We don't know what The Sims 5 download size is just yet, but it will likely be bigger than the 18GB of storage space that The Sims 4 asks for.
